[2015] Schedule
#1
Greetings everypony, I'm going to the GalaCon and would like to know when it usually starts and Ends each day as I Need to adjust my train and Hotel booking accordingly

Does it start earlier than 10:30 on the first day, and does it end later than 19:30 on the second?

Although the final schedule isn't done yet, we will likely stick to the rough times of last year, giving these times:

Saturday:
8:00 Ticket offices open
9:30 Venue opens for visitors, vendor area opens
10:30 Opening ceremony and official start of convention program (was slightly delayed to ~11:00)
19:30 Convention program ends
20:00 Gala and Disco event starts
23:45 Events end
0:00 Venue closes

Sunday:
9:30 Venue opens for visitors, vendor area opens
10:00 Convention program starts
16:00 Convention program ends
16:30 Charity auction starts
18:00 Closing ceremony (usually slightly delayed)
18:30 Venue closes (usually slightly delayed)

So if you arrive at 10:30, you might not be able to attend the opening ceremony, especially since there still might be a queue at the ticket offices. Last year, with some technical difficulties, the ticket queues lasted until 11:something.
19:30 on Sunday should be ok, even with delays things must come to an end after all.

@Crazydre: Its become a sort of tradition on Sunday to join up others at the Towers Pub in Ludwigsburg. Although the pub gets usually totally overwhelmed with people and there are long queues for drinks/food, there are plenty of seats on the ground to sit in circles and relax with other folks!

However everything may change when the fire nation.. i mean when the rain starts. Then things get slightly limited but still feasible! =)

If you can, staying from Friday to Monday is always a good idea. Less stressy. Lots of people will also meet on Friday at the pub.

I want to take the chance to recommend "Bulmers" (cider), which is my favourite alcoholic beverage.

On Friday, the most of them at the Tower's Pub meet each other at 18:00h - where the "Meetup" for that evening starts.

On monday, nothing happens. The most of the People on the Camp-Site leave the Camping Place until to 12:00h (there's something what i know from the last 2 Years).

Usually it's kinda hard to find bronies on Monday. Most people staying till then have to check out around 11 am latest, so they don't stay that much longer anyway.

Yep, for goodbyes, hugs and what not, the bus to Czech republic with ~40 CZ/SK Bronies will be leaving approximately at 10:00-11:00 on Monday from Nestor hotel, in the side street next to Galacon's venue. (weird writing about leaving when we are not there yet!)
